A short Biography

Giles Paley-Phillips was born in Brighton in 1977 and still lives and works in East Sussex.

Linear Hymns is his first book of poetry.

Linear Hymns is a very personal look at the subject of grief, told, by way of a series of poems tracking the thoughts of a twenty something man, who looking back over his short life, finds he is still trying to come to terms with the death of his mother, to leukaemia, when he was 6 years old.

All proceeds from the sale of this book are going to leukaemia research.

Leukaemia research seeks to improve treatments, find cures and prevent all forms of leukaemia and the related blood cancers including Hodgkin and other lymphomas, myeloma, the myelodysplasias and aplastic anaemia, both in children and in adults

it is committed to nationally organised research of the highest calibre, at hospitals and universities across the United Kingdom.
